Nasal Septal Hematoma

A nasal septal hematoma happens when blood collects in your

nasal septum

. It usually occurs following nasal trauma. The traumatized area feels painful and is often swollen and bruised.
Nasal septal hematoma can be accompanied by nasal fracture.
