Medial Epicondylitis

Medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) is a type of tendinitis that affects the inside of the elbow. It develops where the

tendons

in the forearm muscle connect to the bony part on the inside of the elbow. Due to injury or irritation, they can become swollen and painful.
Stretch before physical activity. Before exercising or engaging in sports, warm-up or do gentle stretches to prevent injury.
Symptoms

Pain in inner elbow or elbow pit

  • Occurs or worsens with wrist extension

  • Occurs or worsens with wrist facing downwards

Gradual upper limb weakness

Numbness or tingling in shoulders arms or hands

Elbow pit hurts when touched

Treatment
It's important that you rest your injured arm and stop doing the activity that's causing the problem. Holding a cold compress, such as a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel, against your elbow for a few minutes several times a day can help ease the pain.
