Spinal Stenosis

Lumbar spinal stenosis

Lumbar canal stenosis is the narrowing of the

spinal canal

in the lower portion of your back. This narrowing might put pressure on your spinal cord and the nerves that supply muscles producing pain, numbness, and weakness in your lower extremities. It is a condition that is most common after the 5th decade of life.
To avoid lumbar canal stenosis, you should exercise regularly, maintain a good posture and eat healthy to avoid putting on excess weight.
