Acute Bronchitis

Acute bronchitis is a short-term inflammation of the bronchi.

Please practice social distancing in order to reduce the potential spread of the disease as acute bronchitis can be extremely contagious if it is caused by a virus.

  • Cough with mucus or without mucus

    • Lasting 3 weeks or less

    • With bloody mucus

    • Production of clear-white mucus, Production of yellowish-gray mucus

  • Treatment
  • Acute bronchitis is often treated with rest, drinking plenty of fluids and taking NSAIDs; however, visit your recommended doctor if your symptoms worsen.
