Acute appendicitis requires immediate medical treatment. If left untreated, it can cause your appendix to rupture. This can be a serious and even fatal complication.
Symptoms

Tenderness at McBurney's point

Treatment
Depending on your condition, a treatment plan for appendicitis may include one or more of the following: 1-Surgery to remove the appendix. 2-Abscess drainage before removing the appendix. 3-Antibiotics. 4-Pain relievers and IV fluids.
