Common Cold

The common cold is a viral infectious disease of the

upper respiratory tract

but it mainly affects the nose. Symptoms of the common cold often appear within a few days of being exposed to the virus.

Treatment
Antibiotics are of no use against cold viruses and shouldn't be used unless there's a bacterial infection. Treatment for a common cold is directed at relieving signs and symptoms: 1-Pain relievers. 2-Decongestant nasal sprays. 3-Cough syrups. 4-Drinking plenty of fluids. 5-Resting. 6-Staying warm.
