Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are veins in the lower rectum that become swollen. Hemorrhoids are lumps that can be internal or external. Sometimes, the walls of these blood vessels stretch so thin that the veins bulge and get irritated, especially when you pass stool.
