Almost ALL of the comments talked about feelings of guilt when it came to resting during periods.🩸
Guilty for missing out on work
Guilty for not taking care of kids
Guilty for not hanging out with friends
Guilty for cancelling a date
Guilty for not doing enough chores etc.
But the real question is WHY?🤔
Why do we feel guilty for listening to our body and resting? 🤔
The answer- priorities.👑
Everyone's priorities are different 👑
For some it's work,
For some it's kids,
For some it's friends,
And for some it's none.
So what should we do? How should we prioritise ourselves first and not feel guilty?🤔
The solution? Knowledge 🦋
If you understand exactly why you need rest you will automatically change your priorities and prioritize yourself first. 🦋
