We can all have our opinions and our perceptions, we can live the exact same experience, yet we see things slightly differently, we are all capable of adding bits into a story and taking bits out, seeing bits others didn’t, not seeing parts others did, however when it comes to a narcissist, it can be like they weren’t even in the same building, let alone lived the same experience, as they leave out what doesn’t suit them, add parts in which helps them, or switch the topic of conversation onto something completely different that in some way is beneficial to them, often with twisted truths, half lies or exaggerations in which the narcissist is the grandiose hero, with that charismatic charm, their arrogance as the continually point out their superpowers, how amazing they are, exaggerating how much they have, while pointing out others flaws, or the fragile, vulnerable woe is me victim, whereby nobody has ever had it quite as bad as they’ve had, nobody has suffered as much as they did, and they will be claiming others are the villain as to a narcissist they do no wrong, others do, however, narcissistic people see themselves as superior and better than thou, narcissists play the hero or the victim, yet they never tell the truth, they never admit to being the villain, unless the say “that’s right blame me, I knew it would be my fault, I forgot you were perfect.” To get you to feel bad for calling them out.
