Raise your hand if you've ever eliminated a food group that was troubling you, only to later start reacting to other foods?
By the end of my decade-long foray into fasting/IF, I was pretty much reacting to every food I ate.
Digesting food requires energy, it requires vitamins, minerals, enzymes, thyroid hormone, stomach acid, bile...and the list goes on.
👉 Think of it like this: Becoming intolerant to food is like a warning light showing up on your car dashboard.
And though eliminating the food is usually the go-to 'remedy' it's akin to disabling the warning light so you don't need to be reminded there's a problem under the hood. (Until the problem shows up in other ways) 👈
