Albinism
What is it like to be albino?
Hello I met someone who has an albino kid. I know how albino happens but I have never seen this in person before. She is a cute kid. I like her. I was just curious about how it feels or if there is a treatment for that. Is she suffering from anything like allergies or eye problems? It looks like she has delicate skin and eyes. I couldn’t ask my friend about her. I thought it might be awkward. I want to learn more. So here I am.

Bullied because of my color
So yes, I'm that white gem at the school. My skin, my hair, eyebrows..etc everything is as white as you can imagine. None of my family had it before, I really don't know what side of the family where I got it. I remember at kindergarten kids used to tell things like "why are your hair like this?", "Are you going to be colorful like us?". At that time no one made an issue, maybe because kids usually are too pure. but later on, when I got into school, year by year, it got worse. I think kids born innocent but then the society teach them how to hate what is different. I got kicked during recess so many times that I didn't count. I used to categorize classmates into 3 categories: 1) People who were mean to me 2) People who didn't want to be around me 3) People who were nice to me. But even the nice kids were not my friends, And I think they felt bad for me. but hey! better than getting kicked! This meant that I didn't develop much of social skills to make a circle of friends around me, I felt lonely so many times, I tried to make friends but that didn't last. I guess it was like a snowball, I got rejected by others, felt different and not belonging to others, that lead to less socializing and in the end, I wasn't good enough to bring people around me.
